Parity Plus Welcomes Healthcare Innovator Bill Kampine as Strategic Advisor

Healthcare entrepreneur and Healthcare Bluebook co-founder brings three decades of expertise in healthcare economics, analytics, transparency and technology to Parity Plus

Atlanta, Georgia — September 14, 2026 — Parity Plus today announced that Bill Kampine, an accomplished healthcare executive, entrepreneur, investor and nationally recognized healthcare innovator, has joined the company as a Strategic Advisor.

Kampine brings more than 30 years of experience building and leading category-defining companies at the intersection of healthcare, data, analytics, artificial intelligence and consumer transparency. His addition further strengthens the world-class clinical and advisory team Parity Plus is assembling to bring care, clarity and trust to autism claims management.

In 2007, Kampine co-founded Healthcare Bluebook, a pioneer in healthcare price transparency. Bluebook helped bring visibility to an historically opaque healthcare pricing system, using data to enable millions of consumers to compare costs and identify more affordable care.

“Bill has spent his career seeing problems in healthcare that others accepted as simply the way the system worked — and then building solutions to change them,” said David Essary, CEO of Parity Plus. “That mindset is incredibly aligned with what we are doing at Parity Plus. Autism claims are complex, fragmented and too often difficult for everyone involved to understand. Bill’s experience using data, technology and transparency to make complicated healthcare systems clearer will be invaluable as we continue to build.”

Parity Plus combines purpose-built artificial intelligence, specialized claims expertise, clinical review and family advocacy to bring greater care and transparency to autism-related claims.

The company helps organizations identify billing errors, inconsistencies and other areas requiring deeper review while remaining grounded in a fundamental commitment: we see the child first, not just the claim.

Kampine has been at the forefront of healthcare analytics and technology throughout his career. He was part of the founding team at CareSteps, an early company to use machine learning and predictive modeling to assess risk across large insured populations.

Most recently, he co-founded VB Scout, which uses intelligent technology and data transparency to help brokers, employers, carriers and policyholders better understand and utilize voluntary benefits coverage.

“Parity Plus is addressing an area of healthcare that urgently needs greater transparency, better data and a more intelligent approach,” said Kampine. “I have spent much of my career working to make complex healthcare markets easier to understand and navigate. I’m excited to bring that experience to a company focused on improving the system while keeping children and families at the center of the work.”

An economist by training and a recognized expert in healthcare economics, data and pricing, Kampine has testified before U.S. Senate and House congressional committees and currently serves on the Executive Board of the American Benefits Council in Washington, D.C.

His appointment reflects the continued investment of Parity Plus in a multidisciplinary team capable of examining autism claims through multiple lenses — clinical appropriateness, claims accuracy, payment integrity, healthcare economics and the needs of children and families.

“Technology alone isn’t enough to solve this problem,” Essary said. “We are surrounding our technology with people who understand healthcare from every angle. Bill has spent decades challenging complexity and bringing transparency to markets that desperately needed it. That is exactly the kind of thinking we want around the table.”
